Selkähihnastoja

Selkähihnastoja refers to various types of straps or harness systems designed to distribute weight and provide support for carrying loads on the back. These are commonly found in backpacks, but the term can also encompass specialized equipment used in fields such as hiking, military operations, and even for medical or therapeutic purposes. The primary function of a selkähihnasto is to transfer the weight of the load from the shoulders and upper back to the hips and legs, which are better equipped to handle sustained heavy loads.
