Seefeld

Seefeld is a municipality in the district of Innsbruck-Land in the Austrian state of Tyrol. Located in the western part of Austria, it is situated in the Seefeld plateau, about 20 kilometers northwest of the provincial capital Innsbruck. The municipality encompasses the villages of Seefeld, Mösern, Reith bei Seefeld, and Scharnitz. Seefeld is renowned as a significant tourist destination, particularly for winter sports.

The area's popularity surged with the hosting of the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1985 and again in 2019, further cementing its reputation as a world-class sporting venue.
