Seamwork

Seamwork refers to the process of joining fabric pieces along a seam as part of garment construction and other fabric-based projects. It involves selecting appropriate seam types, seam allowances, stitching methods, and finishing techniques to create durable, neatly finished edges. The quality of seamwork is influenced by fabric choice, thread weight, needle type, and pressing practices, all of which affect durability, fit, and appearance.
