Sasak

Sasak is a term that refers to a group of Austronesian peoples who are native to the islands of the Sunda Shelf in Southeast Asia. The term "Sasak" is often used interchangeably with "Sasakese," which is the name of the language spoken by this ethnic group. The Sasak people are primarily found in the province of West Nusa Tenggara in Indonesia, particularly on the islands of Lombok and Sumbawa.
