Sanajärvi

Sanajärvi is a lake located in the municipality of Nurmijärvi, Finland. The lake is situated in the southern part of the municipality, approximately 30 kilometers northwest of Helsinki. Sanajärvi is relatively small, with a surface area of about 56 hectares. Its average depth is around 3 meters, and its deepest point reaches approximately 7 meters.

The lake is fed by several small streams and drains into the Luhtajoki river, which eventually flows into the Loimijoki river. The surrounding landscape is characterized by mixed forests and agricultural land. The shoreline of Sanajärvi is mostly undeveloped, with some summer cottages and recreational areas present.

Sanajärvi is a popular spot for local residents for recreational activities such as fishing, swimming, and boating during the summer months.
