Sampleto
Sampleto is a term used in statistics and computer science to describe a flexible, modular approach to data sampling. In this conceptual framework, a population is partitioned into subspaces or strata, and samples are drawn through a combination of within-subspace procedures and cross-subspace allocation. A sampling plan specifies how many units to draw from each subspace, a sampling procedure defines the method used within subspaces (random, systematic, stratified, or others), and a weighting scheme aggregates subspace estimates to form overall population estimates.
Origins and uses of the term are mainly in academic discussions and teaching materials, where Sampleto serves
Advantages of the Sampleto perspective include the clarity it provides for allocating sampling effort under resource
