Sammallahdenmäki
Sammallahdenmäki is a Bronze Age burial site located in the municipality of Rauma, Finland. It is the first archaeological site in Finland to be designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognized in 1999. The site comprises over 50 ancient graves dating back to the period between 1500 BCE and 500 BCE. These burial structures include stone cists, cairns, and tumuli, offering valuable insights into the burial practices and social structures of Bronze Age communities in the region.
