This initiative aims to simplify and standardize euro-denominated payments across a large number of European countries, making cross-border transactions as easy and affordable as domestic ones. SEPA transfers enable individuals and businesses to send and receive funds in euros within the SEPA zone using a single bank account and a standardized set of payment instructions.
