SARtekniikkaa
SARtekniikkaa refers to techniques and methodologies used in Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imaging. SAR is an active microwave remote sensing technique that uses the motion of the radar antenna to synthesize a much larger aperture than is physically present, thereby achieving high spatial resolution. This allows SAR systems to generate detailed images of the Earth's surface regardless of weather conditions or time of day, as microwaves can penetrate clouds and darkness.
The fundamental principle behind SAR is the creation of a virtual antenna array by recording the radar
Various SARtekniikkaa exist, including stripmap SAR, spotlight SAR, and sliding spotlight SAR, each offering different trade-offs
