Sünnitustüüp refers to the method by which a baby is born. The primary types are vaginal birth and Cesarean section (C-section). Vaginal birth is the most common and can occur spontaneously or be induced. Spontaneous vaginal birth happens when labor begins naturally and progresses without significant medical intervention. Other terms related to birth type include assisted vaginal birth, which involves the use of instruments like forceps or a vacuum extractor to help deliver the baby during a vaginal birth. Sometimes, a vaginal birth after Cesarean (VBAC) is also a consideration for individuals who have previously had a C-section and wish to attempt a vaginal delivery. The chosen birth type is often influenced by a variety of factors, including the mother's health, the baby's position and well-being, and medical recommendations.
