Säätökäyrät

Säätökäyrät, or control curves, are graphical representations used in various technical and scientific fields to define relationships between input and output variables, often for the purpose of controlling a system. They are essentially a series of points or a continuous line that dictates how a system should respond to different stimuli.

In heating and ventilation systems, säätökäyrät are commonly used to regulate indoor temperature based on outdoor conditions. A heating curve, for instance, might show that as the outdoor temperature drops, the required flow temperature of the heating water increases to maintain a comfortable indoor climate. Conversely, a cooling curve would show a decrease in required flow temperature as outdoor temperatures rise. These curves allow for automatic and efficient climate control, adapting to external environmental changes.
