Röntgensapparaat
Röntgensapparaat is the Dutch term for an X-ray machine. It is a medical imaging device that uses X-rays to create images of the inside of the body. The apparatus typically consists of an X-ray tube, which generates the X-rays, and a detector, which captures the X-rays that have passed through the patient's body. A console allows a radiographer to control the X-ray beam's intensity, duration, and focus.
The principle behind a röntgensapparaat is that different tissues and materials absorb X-rays to varying degrees.
