Röntgenregistret
The Röntgenregistret, or X-ray Register, was a Swedish national register established in 1969 by the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen). Its primary purpose was to collect and store information about all X-ray examinations performed in Sweden. The register aimed to monitor radiation exposure from medical imaging, promote quality control in radiology, and facilitate research into the medical and epidemiological effects of X-rays.
