Räjähdysraja

Räjähdysraja, also known as the "explosion limit," refers to the concentration range within which a substance can explode when mixed with air. This concept is crucial in understanding the safety and handling of flammable materials. The räjähdysraja is typically expressed as a percentage range, indicating the lower and upper limits of the substance's concentration in air that can support combustion.

The lower explosion limit (LEL) is the minimum concentration of a combustible substance in air that can ignite and sustain combustion. Below this limit, the mixture is too lean to support combustion.
