Ruuvikorkit
Ruuvikorkit, also known as RuuviTags, are small, low-cost wireless sensors designed to measure and transmit environmental data. Developed by Ruuvi Innovations, these sensors are typically used for indoor positioning, environmental monitoring, and asset tracking. Each Ruuvikorkki consists of a small, circular PCB with a battery, a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) radio, and various sensors. The sensors can measure temperature, humidity, air pressure, and sometimes even motion or light levels. The data collected by the sensors is transmitted via BLE and can be received by compatible smartphones, tablets, or other devices. Ruuvikorkit are known for their low power consumption, long battery life, and ease of use. They are often used in smart home systems, industrial IoT applications, and research projects. The Ruuvi ecosystem includes a mobile app, RuuviStation, which allows users to monitor and visualize the data collected by their Ruuvikorkit. The app also supports integration with other smart home systems and platforms. Ruuvikorkit are available in various forms, including stickers, keychains, and small tags, making them versatile for different use cases.
