Rutsey
Rutsey is a surname of English origin. The most widely recognized person bearing the name is John Rutsey (c. 1953–2008), a Canadian musician who was the original drummer for the rock band Rush. Rutsey played on Rush's debut album, released in 1974, before leaving the group later that year due to health issues; he was subsequently replaced by Neil Peart, who would become Rush's longtime drummer. Rutsey's involvement with Rush is noted in the band's early history and biographies. The surname Rutsey remains relatively uncommon, and there are no widely reported uses of the name beyond this association.
