Rusticated
Rusticated is an adjective used primarily in architecture and, less commonly, in other disciplines. In architecture, rustication describes a finish or treatment of stone or brick that emphasizes rugged texture or large, clearly defined blocks. The term can also refer to the broader process of giving a surface a rustic or roughened appearance. The word comes from the Italian rustico, meaning rustic, and ultimately from Latin rusticus.
