Ruohokentät

Ruohokentät refers to natural grass football pitches, commonly found in many sports venues, particularly for association football (soccer). These surfaces are the traditional and widely preferred playing surface for the sport due to their natural feel, ball-playing characteristics, and aesthetic appeal. The construction and maintenance of ruohokentät involve several key aspects, including soil preparation, drainage, seeding or sodding, fertilization, mowing, and aeration.

The quality of a ruohokenttä significantly impacts the game.
