Roquebillière
Roquebillière is a commune in the Alpes-Maritimes department in southeastern France. It is situated in the heart of the Mercantour National Park, near the Italian border. The village is nestled in a valley carved by the Vésubie River, surrounded by high mountain peaks. Historically, Roquebillière was part of the County of Nice, which changed allegiances between France and Savoy over the centuries before definitively becoming French in 1860.
The economy of Roquebillière has traditionally been agricultural, with a focus on sheep farming and the cultivation
