Romafællesskabers, often translated as Roma communities, refers to the various social and cultural groups that comprise the Roma people. These communities are diverse and do not represent a monolithic entity. Historically, Roma have been a nomadic or semi-nomadic people, a characteristic that has influenced their community structures and their relationship with settled societies. While the stereotype of constant wandering persists, many Roma communities today are settled, though they may maintain traditions and social connections that reflect their mobile past.

The internal organization of Romafællesskabers can vary significantly. Kinship and extended family ties are typically central to community life, forming the basis of social support and identity.
