Robina

Robina is a suburb of the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. It is a master-planned community developed from the late 1980s by the Robina Group, designed to combine residential neighborhoods with commercial and educational facilities. The name Robina was chosen for the development project.

Geographically, Robina sits inland from the coast and forms a major part of the southern Gold Coast urban area. The suburb contains a mix of housing estates, business precincts, parks and lakes, with a central commercial district anchored by Robina Town Centre, a large shopping mall that serves residents and visitors.

Robina hosts several notable institutions and venues. Bond University, a private tertiary institution established in 1989, is located in Robina. The area also contains sports and entertainment facilities, including Cbus Super Stadium (Robina Stadium), a multi-use venue that has hosted rugby league and other events and is the home ground of the Gold Coast Titans. Two prominent golf courses in the vicinity are The Glades and Robina Woods.

Transportation and access are supported by its proximity to major routes and rail. Robina is served by the Gold Coast railway line, with Robina railway station providing connections to Brisbane and other parts of the coast. The suburb is also near the Pacific Motorway (M1), which links the Gold Coast with Brisbane to the north and New South Wales to the south. Robina includes a range of amenities, including education, healthcare and recreational facilities.
