Ristikytkinjärjestelmä, known in English as a cross-over system or sometimes a bridge system, is a method of electrical circuit configuration. It is primarily used in power electronics and electrical engineering to achieve specific voltage or current transformations or to control power flow. The core concept involves interconnecting multiple power components, such as transistors or diodes, in a way that resembles a cross or bridge structure.

A common application of the ristikytkinjärjestelmä is in motor drives, particularly in the control of alternating current (AC) motors. In these systems, it allows for the efficient conversion of direct current (DC) to variable voltage and variable frequency AC power. This enables precise control over the motor's speed and torque.
