Riskrelativ is a term used in risk management and statistical analysis to describe the relative magnitude of a risk compared to a baseline or reference point. It is not a universally standardized technical term but is often employed in contexts where a direct comparison of risks is necessary. The "relativ" aspect signifies a ratio or proportion, indicating how much larger or smaller a particular risk is in relation to something else.

To calculate Riskrelativ, one typically divides the risk measure of the subject of interest by the risk measure of a reference group or scenario. For example, if a study is examining the risk of a certain disease in a population exposed to a specific factor, the risk in the exposed group might be divided by the risk in an unexposed group. This results in a relative risk. Similarly, in financial risk management, one might compare the volatility of an investment to the volatility of a benchmark index.
