Rionegro

Rionegro is a city and municipality in the Antioquia Department of Colombia. It is located in the eastern subregion of the department, near the city of Medellín, and functions as an administrative and economic hub for the surrounding eastern municipalities.

The José María Córdova International Airport, one of the principal gateways to the Medellín area, is located in Rionegro. The airport handles domestic and international flights and is a major transportation hub for the region, facilitating trade and travel.
