Ringkäigukast
Ringkäigukast, also known as a planetary gear train or epicyclic gear train, is a mechanical gear system where one or more gears, called planet gears, revolve around a central gear, called the sun gear. The planet gears are mounted on a carrier, which also rotates. The entire assembly is enclosed within an outer ring gear, also called an annulus. The interaction of the sun, planet, and ring gears allows for a variety of gear ratios and torque transmission capabilities.
