Richelincs are a fictional species from the planet Xylos, known for their distinctive bioluminescent skin and their complex social structures. They are a silicon-based lifeform, with their bodies composed of crystalline structures that refract light, creating the characteristic glow. This bioluminescence serves multiple purposes, including communication, attracting mates, and warding off predators.

The Xylosian ecosystem is characterized by low light conditions, making the richelincs' natural illumination a significant evolutionary advantage. They inhabit subterranean caverns and dense, phosphorescent forests, where their internal light allows them to navigate and interact with their environment.
