Rezistentnost

Rezistentnost, often translated as resistance, is a broad term with applications across various scientific and technical fields. In a biological context, it refers to the ability of an organism, such as a bacterium or a virus, to withstand the effects of a drug or other antimicrobial substance. This can occur through various mechanisms, including mutations that alter the target of the drug or enable the organism to break down or expel the drug.
