Reviresini
Reviresini is a genus of extinct marine reptiles belonging to the order Plesiosauria. These creatures lived during the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 70 to 66 million years ago. The genus was first described in 1948 by Charles Mortram Woodford based on fossil remains discovered in the United States. Reviresini is characterized by certain features of its vertebral anatomy and limb structure, distinguishing it from other pliosaurid plesiosaurs.
Fossils attributed to Reviresini have been found primarily in North America, specifically in the Western Interior
