Revelators

Revelators are individuals or groups described as sources of revelation or disclosure, deriving from the Latin revelare, "to reveal." The term is informal and its meaning varies by context, but it generally denotes someone who makes known hidden information, knowledge, or messages.

In religious and esoteric traditions, revelators are often seen as recipients of divine or transcendent insight. Prophets and seers in various faiths are regarded as revelators who convey commandments, warnings, or visions. In contemporary esotericism, some claim to reveal hidden teachings through dreams, channels, or symbolic interpretation.

In secular discourse, revelators can be journalists, whistleblowers, researchers, or reform advocates who disclose previously concealed data about power, corruption, or wrongdoing. In fiction, revelators are characters who uncover secrets that drive the plot or expose truth about a world. The term emphasizes the act of revelation rather than the status of the claimant.
