Reperatur

Reparatur, sometimes misspelled as Reperatur, denotes the act of restoring a device, object, or system to working condition after failure or damage. In German, Reparatur is the standard term; Reperatur is a common misspelling found in informal usage.

Repair work is applied across domains such as mechanical engineering, electronics, infrastructure, automotive, household appliances, and software. The goal is to extend service life, recover function, and avoid replacement when feasible.
