Renaults is not a formal brand name but a plural form sometimes used to refer to vehicles produced by Renault, the French multinational automobile manufacturer. Renault Group designs, manufactures, and markets passenger cars and light commercial vehicles under the Renault badge and operates in mobility services and electrification through its broader corporate structure. The company was founded in 1899 by Louis Renault and his brothers and is headquartered in Boulogne-Billancourt, near Paris. Over the decades it has grown into a major global automaker with a wide international footprint and a portfolio that includes passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and related services.
