Renascence

Renascence is a noun meaning revival or rebirth, especially of culture, learning, or life. The term derives from Latin renascentia, through Old French and Early Modern English. In English, renascence has often been used as an alternative spelling or older form for renaissance, though in contemporary writing renaissance is more common for the well-known historical period.
