Reittipalvelimen, often translated as "route server," is a network device or software that facilitates the exchange of routing information between different autonomous systems (AS) on the internet. Its primary function is to simplify the peering process for network operators. Instead of establishing direct peering sessions with every other network present at an internet exchange point (IXP), a network operator can connect to a reittipalvelimen.
