Rehits
Rehits are a phenomenon observed in certain communication systems, particularly in older or less sophisticated wireless networks. The term refers to a situation where a signal, after being transmitted, reflects off an object and then travels back to the receiver. This reflected signal arrives at the receiver later than the direct signal, or sometimes even instead of it, depending on the environment and the object's position.
These reflections are a form of multipath propagation, where a signal takes multiple paths from the transmitter
The impact of rehits can vary significantly. In simple systems, they might lead to minor signal degradation.
