Regionaalsed

Regionaalsed is an Estonian adjective form meaning "regional" and is the plural nominative form of regionaalne. It is used to describe entities, activities or policies that pertain to a particular geographic region rather than to the national or local (municipal) level. The word is cognate with similar terms in many European languages (for example English "regional", German "regional", French "régional").

In everyday and administrative usage, regionaalsed appears in phrases such as regionaalsed teenused (regional services), regionaalsed arengukavad (regional development plans) and regionaalsed tervishoiuteenused (regional health services).
