Redokssoolude, also known as redox salts or oxidizing salts, are chemical compounds that contain elements in a state where they can readily undergo oxidation or reduction reactions. These salts are characterized by the presence of an element in a high oxidation state, making it a strong oxidizing agent, or an element in a low oxidation state, making it a strong reducing agent.

Common examples of redokssoolude include permanganates, dichromates, and nitrates, which act as oxidizing agents. Permanganate ions (MnO4-) are powerful oxidizers due to the high oxidation state of manganese (+7). Dichromate ions (Cr2O7^2-) with chromium in a +6 oxidation state are also potent oxidizing agents.
