Reaksjonskraft

Reaksjonskraft is a fundamental concept in physics, specifically in Newton's third law of motion. It describes the force that an object exerts back on another object when that second object applies a force on the first. This law is often stated as "for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction." The action and reaction forces are always equal in magnitude and opposite in direction. They act on different objects, meaning they do not cancel each other out. For example, when you push on a wall, the wall pushes back on you with an equal force. If you drop a ball, the Earth exerts a gravitational force on the ball, and the ball also exerts an equal gravitational force on the Earth. Although the forces are equal, their effects are different due to the masses of the objects involved. A reaksjonskraft is not a consequence of the initial force but rather a simultaneous occurrence. This principle is crucial for understanding how objects move and interact in the universe, from simple everyday experiences to complex astrophysical phenomena.
