Rauxel

Rauxel is a municipality in the district of Recklinghausen in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. Located in the Ruhr area, it is part of the larger urban region of Dortmund and is situated approximately 15 kilometers northeast of Recklinghausen city center. The town covers an area of around 23.6 square kilometers and had a population of roughly 20,000 residents as of recent estimates.
