Rattrap

Rattrap is a fictional character from the Transformers franchise. He is a Maximal, a faction of heroic Transformers who are descendants of the Autobots. Rattrap is a small, agile robot that can transform into a rat. He is known for his sarcastic wit, cowardly nature, and surprisingly effective combat skills.

Rattrap's personality is often at odds with the heroic ideals of the Maximals. He is cynical, self-serving, and prone to complaining. Despite his flaws, Rattrap is fiercely loyal to his team and will often put himself in danger to protect them. His small size and rodent-like abilities make him an excellent scout and saboteur.

Rattrap was a prominent character in the Beast Wars: Transformers animated series. He was voiced by Scott McNeil, who also voiced Dinobot. Rattrap's character arc in Beast Wars saw him grow from a reluctant participant into a valuable and trusted member of the Maximal crew, even developing a grudging respect for Optimus Primal. He also appeared in the sequel series, Beast Machines: Transformers, though his role was less central. Rattrap has also been featured in various Transformers comic books and toy lines.
