Raszterformátumok
Raszterformátumok refer to a group of digital image file formats that store images as a grid of pixels. Each pixel is a tiny dot that contains color information. When viewed together, these pixels create the visual representation of the image. Unlike vector formats, which use mathematical equations to define shapes, raster formats store the image data directly, meaning the image is composed of a fixed number of pixels. This characteristic makes raster images resolution-dependent. Enlarging a raster image beyond its original pixel dimensions will result in a loss of quality, appearing pixelated or blurry.
Common raster formats include JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group), PNG (Portable Network Graphics), GIF (Graphics Interchange
