Rasgrf2
RasGRF2, also known as Ras-GRF2 or Ras guanine nucleotide releasing factor 2, is a protein encoded by the Rasgrf2 gene. This gene is found in humans and other mammals. RasGRF2 belongs to a family of guanine nucleotide exchange factors (GEFs) that play a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways. Specifically, it facilitates the exchange of GDP for GTP on Ras proteins, thereby activating them.
The Ras GTPases are central regulators of numerous cellular processes including cell growth, differentiation, and survival.
