Rakosaurus
Rakosaurus is a genus of large predatory theropod dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 70 to 66 million years ago. Its fossils have been discovered in the Maevarano Formation of Madagascar. The name Rakosaurus means "thief lizard," a reference to its carnivorous nature and its discovery. It is considered one of the largest known theropods from Africa.

Rakosaurus likely preyed on smaller dinosaurs and other vertebrates found in its environment. Its powerful build
