Railtrack
Railtrack plc was the owner and maintainer of most of Britain's railway infrastructure from 1994 to 2002. Created as part of the privatization of British Rail under the Railways Act 1993, Railtrack held responsibility for tracks, signals, bridges, and related infrastructure, while train operating companies ran services over the network.
