Radiotaajuussäteilijöihin refers to devices that emit radio frequency (RF) radiation. This type of electromagnetic radiation falls within the electromagnetic spectrum between infrared radiation and microwaves. RF radiation is a non-ionizing form of radiation, meaning it does not have enough energy to remove electrons from atoms or molecules, and therefore does not directly damage DNA.

Numerous studies have investigated possible links between RF exposure and various health outcomes, including cancer and neurological effects. The scientific consensus, based on extensive research, is that exposure to RF radiation at levels below established international safety guidelines does not cause adverse health effects. These guidelines are set by organizations like the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) and are designed to protect against known harmful effects, primarily tissue heating. Ongoing research continues to monitor and evaluate potential long-term effects.
