Radionische, or radionics, refers to a set of practices within alternative medicine that claim illnesses can be diagnosed and treated with devices that measure and influence subtle energy patterns, often described as rays, vibrational fields, or bioenergetic signatures. The concept emerged in the early 20th century and drew on ideas from radiesthesia (dowsing) and early electrical instrumentation. Proponents contend that a radionics instrument can read a person’s pathogenic or nutritional signatures from sources such as patient samples, handwriting, photographs, or charts, and then guide the selection of remedies or energies.
