It is not a single standardized technical term with one fixed definition, but rather a descriptive phrase found in various contexts to denote lines or paths associated with radar operation, measurement, or plotting.

In radar operation and navigation, the radar line can mean the straight path from the antenna to a detected target along which the transmitted radar wave travels and the returning echo is received. This line is part of the geometric relationship used to determine range and bearing, and it is affected by factors such as beam width, atmospheric conditions, antenna height, and the curvature of the Earth.
