RNAmolekulit

RNAmolekulit refers to a subclass of macromolecules known as ribonucleic acids or RNAs. These molecules serve various functions within cells, particularly when it comes to protein production and the regulation of gene expression.

The process begins with transcription, during which a DNA template guides the assembly of nucleotides into an RNA sequence. This RNA copy becomes the messenger RNA (mRNA) that transports genetic information from the DNA in the cell's nucleus to the ribosomes located in the cytoplasm.

At the ribosomes, the encoded mRNA sequence is translated into a string of amino acids. These amino acids eventually fold into a three-dimensional protein structure, and with the ultimate purpose of carrying out the body's cellular functions.

RNAmolekulit can undergo post-transcriptional processing. This process involves the removal of an excess nucleotide at the 5' end, a guanine nucleotide attached to the m7G cap, and adding an address tag or poly-A tail at the 3' end. Such modifications facilitate mRNA export from a cell's nucleus and ensure its translation.

RNAmolekulit might provide resistance to protein decay through the incorporation of miRNAs. microRNAs (miRNAs) are small noncoding RNAs used as regulators in gene expression. On binding to the messenger RNA, miRNAs target its sequence leading to mRNA destabilization and degradation and hence reducing the protein expression levels. Specific interactions between RNAmolekulit and miRNA-based mechanisms influence cellular behavior, which in turn, plays a significant role in pathological conditions.
