An RFID system, or Radio-Frequency Identification system, is a technology that uses radio waves to identify and track tags attached to objects. These tags, also known as transponders, contain electronically stored information. The system consists of three main components: the RFID tag, the RFID reader, and the antenna. The antenna is used to communicate with the RFID tag, sending and receiving radio waves. The RFID reader emits radio waves to activate the tag and then reads the data stored on it. The data is then processed by a system, often a computer.
