REACHnõuded

REACHnõuded is a systematic approach to identifying and meeting the essential needs of individuals, communities, and organizations. The term is derived from the word "nõud", which means "need" in Estonian. REACHnõuded was first introduced in Estonia and has since been adopted in various parts of the world.

The purpose of REACHnõuded is to ensure that the essential needs of individuals, communities, and organizations are met in a comprehensive and sustainable manner. This approach involves a thorough understanding of the social, economic, and environmental context in which an individual or organization operates.

REACHnõuded encompasses six key elements: economic, social, environmental, cultural, spiritual, and physical. Each element represents a fundamental need that must be fulfilled in order to ensure the well-being and success of an individual or organization.

Economic needs refer to the basic necessities such as food, clothing, and shelter. Social needs encompass relationships, social connections, and a sense of belonging. Environmental needs relate to access to clean water, sanitation, and a healthy environment. Cultural needs involve the preservation and expression of cultural heritage. Spiritual needs are related to personal values and beliefs. Physical needs include access to healthcare, education, and basic services.

By identifying and meeting these essential needs, REACHnõuded aims to promote individual and collective well-being, social justice, and sustainable development.
