Qaidambassängen
Qaidambassängen, also known as the Footprint Pool, is a small, shallow body of water located in the Indian city of Delhi. It is situated near the Qutub Minar complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The pool is named for the belief that it contains a footprint of the deity Vishnu.
The origins of Qaidambassängen are steeped in religious lore and historical tradition. According to Hindu mythology,
The pool is a simple, unadorned structure, typically a stone-lined basin that collects rainwater or groundwater.
